Szanazug is a most favourite recreation area of the settlements in Central Békés. At the right bank of the Kettős-Körös summer-houses, shops, restaurants, and on the Gyula side weekend houses, a pension and a camping can be found. In the summer season boat rent is possible. The Queen Elisabeth Memorial Park built and taken care of nicely by the Gyula Water Directorate and nature lovers of the county is also worth a visit. Young breeding material trees of the old, remarkable, partly died trees were planted here.
